Australia has proved once again that it’s a force to be reckoned with in the pool. Not satisfied with merely retaining the title, the women’s 4×100 metres relay team broke the world record to win gold in Rio.

Led by sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell, the team clocked three minutes 30.65 seconds, beating the time the team set in Glasgow two years ago by more than three tenths of a second. Emma McKeon and Brittany Elmslie swam the second leg, helping bring the foursome to victory over the United States and Canada. (Euronews)
