The bell bears the Expo logo and the crests of the city of Milan, the Molise region and the municipality of Agnone. It has been decorated with chiseled images of the Ndocciata [a typical event taking place every year in Agnone] and of St. Francesco Caracciolo, the patron saint of Italian chefs, who died in the city of Agnone. On September 26, the Molise region will be represented at the Milan Expo with an event titled 'Il Giorno del Fuoco' ['Fire Festival'] which will feature the famous Ndocciata parade, typical of Agnone, and will take place at the new Navilgio dock in Milan.
