The double Olympic champion, who proved too strong for his opponents on Saturday, continued his fine form of late with jumps of 135.5 m and 128 m to secure the win ahead of Norway’s Daniel Andre Tande.
The 22-year-old cleared 128.5m before stepping it up a gear on his second attempt with a leap of 134.5m, enough to edge out Slovenia’s Daniel Prevc by the narrowest of margins.
This result sees Stoch extend his overall lead to 66 points going into the next Ski Jumping World Cup event in Zakopane, Poland. Tande and Prevc are currently sitting second and third respectively. (Euronews)
