The platform aims at surveying and classifying information by theme so as not to lose the large pool of contents generated by Expo Milano 2015. The goal of the project is to store data on all the events and meetings taking place during the Universal Exhibition, in order to map them and create a pool of knowledge. "I consider this to be among the most interesting projects of the big Expo platform," said Italian Agriculture Minister, Maurizio Martina, continuing: "It is an extraordinary opportunity in which to acquire all the different information, ideas and projects that will be put in place through October. This project constitutes the heritage of Expo 2015." The WikiExpo.org platform will be in English. The list of events will be supplemented with a virtual map presenting different categories of activities and recurring tags. (AGI)
